However, we don't need low income housing in our downtown. Park Theater if left in existance could be renovated into a youth organization or into a... [Read More]

I got my book yesterday in the mail and I read the CM letter said ( LP was recently named 1 of 10 most affordable places to buy a home in the United States) To me this seems like something not to brag about unless he is gunning for that number 1 spot. If you are a home owner this news is bad news. I would like to see this list of the cheapest homes in US to see who we are in the list with . Please post if some one nows where it is

A friend sent me an email for a product known as HYDRO-4000. Apparently, it's a sort of after-market hydrogen cell that can be installed rather effortlessly on virtually any gasoline engine. It operates on little more than distilled water; requiring a 20% mixture of denatured alcohol solution in the winter months to prevent freezing. Testimonials on the manufacturers website claim that the cell only requires about 4 ounces (1/4 cup) of distilled water for every 100 miles driven. Users are... [Read More]

» Grafiti in the City:
May 14, 2008 - 12:04 AM - by Veritas Scriptor

Rather than take that post off the subject, I thought better to create an entirely separate thread about the graffiti plaguing the city. I think it is important that citizens be aware of the graffiti they see, and wherever possible, to take a picture of it and post in this thread. ... [Read More]

On another note along the lines of the City of Melvindale allegedly removing the to Melvindale sign.......

My understanding is that the Papalas family have requested in writing, via their attorney, to have their family name removed from Papalas Drive.

Hmmmm.... seems there are many not as proud as Vaslo, Kandes, Disanto, Zelenak and Duchane... [Read More]
